People post their pictures up and everyone comments on them, and they are almost always compliments. Everybody adds their friends and it’s just fun to comment and get commented. I havn’t had any negative experiences on MySpace, it’s all been good. Though people can post some weird bulletins about how if you don’t repost them you will have people by your bed with knives to kill you. That’s just stupid I reckon. So long as people know how to be safe then it’s fine.

I thought it was really brave of them for going out to a public event so early after Steve Irwin’s death. She looked like she had a good time and I think it did Bindi good to do something like that to keep her mind off it and to help her move on better. It was really sad when she said she was there because her Dad promised her he’d take her there, even though he probably wouldn’t have liked that sort of thing.
Well… by the way I don’t have a boyfriend any more lol. Don’t want one for a long time… The holidays were the best ones ever!!! I did something every day it was pretty busy and I just had heaps of fun.

It has been quite an eventful term for me. Next term I’m pretty sure most things will have settled down a lot. Anyway .. A blog I enjoyed reading from a student in Brazil is Ariel’s. Mrs. McLeay told me that in Brazil they speak Portugese and they are learning English as a second language. I think it would be good to keep in touch with them and learn about their country and if they have different ways of life and things. It seems interesting.

I also like Sinead’s blog. She is in my class and her writing is sometimes random and funny.

Obviously they have to be good teachers and you’re supposed to learn things from them.
To be a good learner, you have to take in the information given to you by the teacher and understand it. You have to listen and do your work to learn things .. something I’m not that good at (listening). Good students are ones that don’t disrupt the class I guess. Expectations I have of this are probably just to learn whatever is given to me to learn ..
I think a good learning environment varies for each person. It’s the atmosphere/environment a person works well in or does their best in.
The difference between a producer of information and a consumer of information is that the consumer takes in the information and the producer provides the information for the consumer.
I have recently learnt a game in sport called Caugh-ball (pronounced Corf-ball) I think that’s how you spell it. It’s sort of a mix between netball and basketball. I don’t like netball or basketball much but I actually like this game. That’s the topic we are on now in sport for the next few weeks I think!

This weekend is going to be even worse, I’m going to my holiday house – away from CIVILIZATION where I can’t talk to any of my friends and where it will be freezing cold. Does anyone have any suggestions of fun things to do on the weekends???

I heard Fergie’s (from the black eyed peas) new song London Bridge, I thought it sounded a bit like one of Missy Elliot’s songs at first. I was also reading through one of my old Girlfriend magazines and there was a story in there about a girl who met a 30-year-old man and went to him to tell all her problems to about family, friends and school. She thought he understood because he was older. He complimented her and made her feel good then she decided to meet him and he raped her. She said no and he said he’d pay her, but he ended up doing it anyway. Why would you want to meet up with a 30-year-old man anyway ?? Wouldn’t it be suspicious enough that he was hitting on a young girl in her teens? Obviously some girls aren’t that smart…

We watched “Girl With A Pearl Earring” in art the other day to look at the way Vermeer painted and the story behind his paintings. I thought it was a good movie, it was different to all of the others I’ve seen. Scarlett Johanson played a servant for the famous painter Vermeer and his wife. Vermeer deicided to use the servant (Griet) in one of his paintings and they both looked like they were falling for each other. Vermeer’s wife found out and was jealous so she sacked Griet. The movie ended with Vermeer giving Griet his wife’s pearl earrings that she wore in the painting. They were worth enough money to live on for most of your life back then, so did he give them to her to let her know he liked her, or was it because she was sacked and needed the money to provide for her family and her?

The other day my Mum found a note I had written to my best friend in prep telling her she was my best friend. That same girl is my best friend now and it’s so weird looking at how many years have gone past and we end up being best friends again. She was my first best friend and she will stay my best friend. =]

On the weekend my boyfriend came over and we watched the all time FUNNIEST movie .. Napolean Dynamite. Who hasn’t seen that movie at least five times?? My sister had her birthday party and her friends tipped over all the m&m’s behind the couch and put them back in the bowl and offered them to me .. they kept ringing our home phone from their mobiles and hanging up before we got a chance to pick up the phone .. they screamed and ran back and forward down the hallway and lets just say I didn’t get much sleep that night…
